Paying our respects to our late Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II raising £1000 for Royal British Legion

Date Added 14/09/2022

Yesterday saw Johnsons take a group of 60 passengers to London to pay their respects in the capital for our late Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II. The day was put together to help those who could not travel there themselves the chance to say their farewells, place flowers and unite with many others who also had visited the capital yesterday (Tuesday 13th September 2022).

We were proud to donate £1000 (which encompassed 50% of the ticket fee and a donation by Johnsons) to the Royal British Legion of which Her Majesty was a patron.

One passenger, Wayne Downes said "I would like to say a big thank you for laying on the "paying our last respects" coach to London on Tuesday 13th. Without that myself or others would never have had the chance to visit London and lay flowers. Your two drivers were fantastic, not sure of their names but myself and my son appreciate them taking us,we had a wonderful time,we'll never forget the queen's coffin flying over our coach at RAF NORTHOLT. Also it was a wonderful gesture for Johnsons to top up the profits you made and donate them to the Royal British legion.
Again, thank you to you all and we look forward to travelling with your wonderful company in the future. I will next see you all for my next day trip in December."

We are pleased to be able to make this donation to the Royal British Legion and to be able to provide individuals with the chance to pay their last respects to our late Monarch and commemorate her steadfast service to our nation.
