The Regent Club arrived back from their holiday in Suffolk on Friday evening. Once again I write to commend Jo for all the assistance which she has given me in the past year of preparation.  Nothing has been too much trouble, and, when the time came, the six days, all crammed with activity,  ran smoothly. I should also like to commend Lewis.  He drove immaculately, and was, as always, polite, helpful and agreeable  company.  He was always on time and  the coach was always clean and tidy.  He is an excellent representative forthe Johnson marque. The Stoke by Nayland Hotel was excellent.  The rooms, lounges, service and menu were without fault.  I would recommend it for any future groups. [We]  plan to return to Suffolk for a few days holiday and we fully intend to use this hotel. Our Blue Badge Guide for the tour of the Constable Country was Claire Partner. She was very knowledgeable, witty and had a great personality.  She greatly enhanced our day and again, I would recommend her services to your Company."

"All was excellent on the coach and included a DVD that worked well, making the whole long journey more pleasant. It was a truly memorable trip for us as the hotel that Jo Brown managed to get for us was exceptional. The staff there could not do enough to help us. (They must have had the same trainer that your staff have). The rooms were exceptionally large, beds were very comfortable, and the showers were walk in wet rooms with separate toilets. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the breakfasts were excellent. Johnson’s can certainly recommend it to any group looking for accommodation in the area and are welcome to use my name.  All in all, I must again give credit to Jo who did a fantastic job sorting everything out including managing to get us train times that suited. She is a real star and deserves to be praised. Finally, top marks to Colin, our driver. He was excellent, helped the older members of us on and off the coach, loaded and unloaded 2 mobility scooters loads of times and never once complained. I gave everyone a questionnaire at the end of the trip and one of the questions was to rate the driver out of 5. I got 34 x 5’s, 2 x 6’s and 1 x 10 which is testament itself as to how highly my Group thought of Colin. So, thank you Johnsons for coming up trumps once again and finally, please pass on to Jo and Colin our sincere thanks and appreciation."

"We have just come back from our seventh annual Art Fund holiday booked through Jo Brown of your Groups department. This one was probably the most succesful yet - partly because of the wonderful spel pf weather, bnut mostly because of your company's care and efficiency. Once again, two people stand out, Jo Brown, who charms her way through any booking problems, and Phil Stokes, who has driven us each time so far. This year Jo suggested the Stoke-by-Nayland hotel, which honestly was almost faultless, and i don't think engendered one complaint from my group. Phil drove a very comfortable Volvo coach in his usual calm way, up motorways and through tiny Suffolk lanes, with equal skill. As far as i know, he recieved only one fairly casual complaint, which he dealt with admirably and with good humour - one of my members wanted WiFi on the coach. Maybe it will be a demand that will increase in our changing world, but most of us are only too pleased to leave behind the business world when we go on holiday! Thank you for both your staff. Jo is already organising our booking for next year, i have a large number of provisional bookings, and all of us will be looking forward to travelling with you again. I wish you could see the complimentary comments that arrive in the post every day."

"We had a fabulous trip down to Somerset and Wiltshire. The weather was perfect, the hotel good and the gardens glorious. A special thank you goes to Colin who looked after us with his usual calm and friendly way. He is the safest and most courteous driver and he makes himself part of our group whenever he can. He also sorted out a few little niggles at the hotel without any fuss or bother which made everything go like clockwork. I hope i don't put too much pressure on his skills of getting the coach through some tight spots, but he manages everything i throw at him with a quiet smile. We truly hope he is able [to drive our next trip for us]. I have given him the dates so if he is not our driver i shall know why! Once again, many thanks for all you do for us to make our trips so successful."

"Back home after yet another very successful tour. Pete, our driver, was excellent. I don't think he put a wheel wrong and was most helpful and considerate throughout the trip. Nothing was too much trouble for him. I hope that he enjoyed our company as much as we enjoyed his. With the exception of the day we spent on Mull when we had some low cloud and drizzle the weather was excellent and the countryside looked at its best. We usually have good weather on our tours and this year was no exceeption. I believe there has been rain in the West of Scotland since we left. The hotels were very much as we expected. The service in all of them was good, friendly and helpful. I had no problems with the food, it was plentiful, tasty and imaginative using local produce. Newcastle was a revelation and once again the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly."
