We depart for Barnstaple, making comfort stops en-route including a suitable lunch stop. Arriving at the Royal & Fortescue Hotel mid/late afternoon. |
Thursday |
After breakfast, we journey to the charming town of Tiverton featuring an historic castle built in 1106. Enjoy free time to explore at leisure and browse the festively decorated stores on the high street. We return to the hotel with time to relax before dinner and an evening of live entertainment. |
Friday |
Merry Christmas! After a hearty breakfast join in the games and quizzes provided. Manager's Christmas Day Cocktail Party with Bucks Fizz and Canapes before your traditional Christmas Day lunch. Later, enjoy the King's speech with tea and Christmas cake. A cold meat and seafood buffet is served at dinner, followed by a quiz. |
Saturday |
A short morning drive to the historic fishing village of Appledore, located at the mouth of the river Torridge. Returning to our hotel for a light lunch. In the afternoon join us for the matinee performance of 'Snow White' at Barnstaple's Queens Theatre. Upon returning to our hotel the afternoon is free to relax before dinner, then 'A Night at the Races'. |
