Although we may be slightly biased, we feel that this Christmas tour in the West Country will be simply wonderful. The City of Plymouth has a great naval history, stretching back to the time of Sir Francis Drake and the Spanish Armada to today’s ultra-modern navy dockyards. We feature two half day excursions, one taking us into Cornwall and the other to rugged Dartmoor.

Tuesday |
Departing in the morning, we travel to Plymouth arriving during the afternoon at the 4-star Crowne Plaza for our four-night stay. After dinner, we enjoy musical entertainment. |
Wednesday |
This morning, we cross the Tamar Bridge at Saltash into Cornwall for a visit to the resort of Looe, returning to the hotel in time for lunch. The afternoon is free for you to explore - visit the famous Barbican, the Hoe, or look around the city centre and search for that last minute present. Later in the afternoon, tea & mince pies are available. Relax before dinner and tonight's entertainment. |
Thursday |
Merry Christmas to all! Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, enter the Chef's Christmas Cake Competition, and then perhaps a stroll in the city or along the Hoe to work up an appetite for Traditional Christmas Lunch. Listen to the King's Speech and have a relaxing afternoon with a slice of Christmas cake and maybe a few board games will take you to this evening's buffet. The evening ends with festive fun and games. |
Friday |
We have a morning excursion along the Tamar Valley to Tavistock and the edge of Dartmoor before returning to the hotel for lunch. This afternoon is free for you to do as you wish. Pastries and tea are served this afternoon and tonight sees our Farewell Gala Dinner and a final night of live entertainment. |
Saturday |
Breakfast, then it's homeward bound. |
