We travel to the East of England, arriving late afternoon at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Huntingdon. On arrival, enjoy a welcome tea or coffee, followed by time to settle into your rooms. |
Friday |
After breakfast, we travel to the world-famous Imperial War Museum Duxford. Spend the day exploring this historic airfield, home to an impressive collection of aircraft and exhibitions that bring aviation history to life, including Concorde and military aviation highlights. There is ample free time to explore the hangars and museum at your own pace. |
Saturday |
This morning we visit Barnsdale Gardens, famously associated with Geoff Hamilton. Enjoy time to stroll through the beautifully designed gardens, each offering inspiration and character. Later this afternoon we travel to Rutland Water for a delightful afternoon cream tea cruise. The cruise lasts approximately 45 minutes and is a round trip from Whitwell Harbour, with a short stop at Normanton Church on the south shore, weather permitting. |

After breakfast, we travel to Bletchley Park, the legendary home of Britain's wartime codebreakers. |
Monday |
After breakfast it's homeward bound. |
