En route to our hotel, we visit the beautiful gardens of Levens Hall in the Southern Lakes before continuing to our hotel for our four night stay. |
Tuesday |
Tuesday Visit the Lakes Aquarium on the shores of Windermere, home to fascinating local wildlife, followed by a relaxing 45 minute cruise on Lake Windermere. |
Wednesday |
Enjoy a scenic drive through the Furness region, including a return steam train journey on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Steam Railway. We then visit Muncaster Castle, its gardens and Hawk and Owl Centre. |
Thursday |
Discover Holker Hall and Gardens, touring the house and award winning gardens. This afternoon we visit the Lakeland Motor Museum, with its vast collection of vehicles and memorabilia |
Friday |
After a final hearty Cumbrian breakfast, we return home. |
