Travel to Llangollen, set beside the River Dee and overlooked by its castle, before continuing to the Victorian resort of Llandudno, arriving late afternoon. |
Day 2 |
Visit Caernarfon Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, then enjoy a scenic drive to Llanberis. |
Day 3 |
A free day to explore Llandudno. An open top bus ticket is included for sightseeing around the town and surrounding area. |
Day 4 |
A scenic drive into Snowdonia National Park, visiting Betws y Coed before continuing via Blaenau Ffestiniog to Porthmadog. |
Day 5 |
Cross the Menai Bridge to Anglesey, visiting Beaumaris. Enjoy an 80 minute boat cruise to Puffin Island (weather permitting). |
Day 6 |
Return home via medieval Chester, famed for its city walls, cathedral and unique Rows galleries. |
