A luxurious former Victorian summer residence, the hotel retains much of its tranquility and charm. It stands at the end of Sidmouth's striking esplanade and is just a short stroll from the town centre. We travel south, making a suitable lunch stop en-route, arriving at our hotel mid-afternoon. Relax, settle in and enjoy a drinks reception before our first delicious evening meal. |

A free day to explore and enjoy the many attractions that Sidmouth has to offer. Make the most of the Belmont's luxurious surroundings and enjoy a sumptuous Devon cream tea! |
Tuesday |
Drive through the beautiful scenery and picturesque villages of Dartmoor National Park with a lunch stop in the thriving market town of Tavistock situated in the heart of an area of tremendous natural beauty after lunch we continue our scenic drive to Buckfastleigh where we will visit Buckfast Abbey, located in the centre of this picturesque village on the edge of Dartmoor, home to a community of Benedictine Monks, at the heart of Buckfast is the Abbey and Monastery, the site also includes beautiful, spacious gardens, restaurant and numerous shops. |
Wednesday |
After breakfast we visit Exeter Christmas Markets. Taking place on Exeter's Cathedral Green, the Cathedral Christmas Market is wonderfully atmospheric, set among a labyrinth of winding paths, festooned with fairy lights and laced with the seasonal sights and smells of festive chalets, showcasing a wide range of local, regional, national and international suppliers, offering crafts and gifts, and seasonal food and drink. Tonight, we will enjoy as traditional Festive Christmas style dinner at our hotel. |

After breakfast we depart our hotel and after making a suitable stop for lunch en-route we arrive home in the afternoon. |
