The Riverside Lodge Hotel is located on the outskirts of Irvine, near the Ayrshire coast. Overlooking a golf course, the hotel offers comfortable accommodation in pleasant surroundings. All rooms are ensuite and have television, telephone, hairdryer and teas & coffee making facilities.

We depart in the morning travelling to Scotland and arrive late afternoon at the Riverside Lodge Hotel, Irvine. 4 nights stay - dinner, bed & breakfast. Tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival. |
Tuesday |
Today we visit Glasgow, starting at the impressive Riverside Transport Museum. We then travel just outside the city to the Burrell Collection, set within Pollok Country Park. The collection was donated by shipping magnate Sir William Burrell. |
Wednesday |
A short journey takes us to the Scottish Maritime Museum in Irvine, showcasing historic vessels and Scotland's shipbuilding heritage. The remainder of the day is free to explore Irvine at leisure. |
Thursday |
We visit Ayr and the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, celebrating the life and legacy of Scotland's national poet. This afternoon we continue to Dumfries House, a beautifully preserved stately home set within 2,000 acres, saved for the nation in 2007 by a charitable consortium led by King Charles III. |
