    Day 1

    Depart Henley and travel north to Kendal, the 'Gateway to the Lakes', for lunch before continuing to Keswick. Time to relax before dinner.

    Day 2

    Visit Grasmere, famed for gingerbread and its association with William Wordsworth. We visit Wordsworth Museum and Dove Cottage, recently reopened after restoration, before continuing to Bowness for a scenic cruise on Lake Windermere.

    Day 3

    Morning visit to Cockermouth, Wordsworth's birthplace, with free time to explore its historic streets. Return to Keswick for a free afternoon.

    Day 4

    Enjoy a Mountain Goat excursion, visiting Coniston Water and the Ruskin Museum to view Donald Campbell's Bluebird. Cruise on the steam yacht Gondola, then visit Hill Top (NT), Beatrix Potter's former home, returning via Tarn Hows.

    Day 5

    Depart Keswick and return home.
