We journey towards South Yorkshire to arrive late afternoon at the Hex Hotel. |
Saturday |
Today we visit the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. The UK's number one walkthrough wildlife experience, with around 475 animals to meet! Among the 60 different species, is the largest collection of Polar Bears in Britian, Lions, Tigers Sea Lions, red pandas, leopards and many more! This evening, we head back to the Wildlife Park for the magical Winter Illuminations Trail. Explore the park after dark with 3km of illuminated trail featuring bespoke lanterns and light displays. |
Sunday |
Today we travel to the historic city of York where we visit the city's famous Christmas markets. Enjoy browsing the stalls and soak in the atmosphere. You can wander past the old shops of the medieval Shambles, or enjoy the fashionable shops of Parliament Street. Or perhaps take time to visit the spectacular York Minster itself. |

After breakfast, we journey home with a lunch stop on the way. |
