Day Two |
Today, we visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan. After an introductory talk we are free to discover this secret kingdom including its sub-tropical jungle, vegetable, flower & fruit gardens and the 'Lost Valley.' Later, we continue to the picture postcard fishing village of Mevagissey. |
Day Three |
Today we travel to the picturesque fishing village of Polperro, where a delightful jumble of narrow lanes, white washed cottages and its charming harbour create one of Cornwall's most photographed scenes. There is free time to explore and enjoy lunch at leisure before we return to our hotel later this afternoon to indulge in a traditional Cornish cream tea. |
Day Four |
This morning we visit Bodmin Jail for a chaperoned 'Dark Walk' tour, offering a fascinating insight into the prison's dramatic past. This afternoon we head to Lanhydrock Gardens (NT), where you can enjoy a self guided visit through the magnificent formal gardens, woodland walks and parkland surrounding the historic house, before returning to the hotel. |
