Fragrance & Luxury on the Cote d'Azur

Day One

Departing Henley, we head to Dover, and take the short ferry crossing to Calais. Upon arrival in France, we continue to our first overnight stop in Reims at Mercure Reims Parc Des Expositions Hotel.

Day Two

Departing from Reims, we continue our journey south through France to Lyon, and check in to Mercure Lyon Est Chaponnay Hotel.

Day Three

We continue our journey to the French Riviera, and check in to Pullman Cannes Mandelieu for the next 5 nights.

Day Four

After our journey from the UK, we enjoy a day at leisure. Relax at the hotel's private beach with sunloungers or swimming pool overlooking the Bay of Cannes. Enjoy lunch or drinks at the hotel or explore the local area with a choice of bars, cafes and restaurants.

Day Five

We will enjoy a morning at leisure in glamourous Cannes to explore the marina and La Croisette, the stylish promenade overlooked by exclusive shops, hotels and restaurants, and the famous Palais des Festivals, venue of the famous Cannes Film Festival. This afternoon, we will travel to Grasse, known as the 'perfume capital of the world' for a visit to the Musee Fragonard, an historic insight into the local fragrance industry.

Day Six

We enjoy a morning at leisure in Nice to visit the Promenade des Anglais and the vast and historic local flower market with its colourful and fragrant flowers, arrangements and plants. Afterwards, we have time for lunch before visiting the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. With spectacular views of the Mediterranean, this magnificent villa on the French Riviera is surrounded by nine internationally themed gardens.

Day Seven

This morning, we make the journey to the luxurious coastal resort of St Tropez where we are free to browse the superb old centre. Renowned for its beaches and nightlife, the resort's cobblestoned La Ponche quarter is a small fishing village and a wonderful area to explore as yachts moor up in the Old Port. Our return journey to the hotel includes a scenic drive along the magnificent Corniche coastal lit up in the afternoon sun with red hues from the rock formations.

Day Eight

After breakfast, we start the journey home and make our way back to Lyon to the Mercure Lyon Est Chaponnay Hotel.

Day Nine

We journey north through France back to Mercure Reims Parc Des Expositions Hotel for our final nights stay.

Day Ten

We head for Calais, for the short crossing back to Dover, then return home.
