The Celtic Royal Hotel
This stylish three-star hotel is located in the famous coastal town of Caernarfon, North Wales. It has superb leisure facilities, including a sixteen-metre swimming pool. The bright and airy bedrooms all have TV, tea/coffee making facilities to make your stay a comfortable one. Day One: Arrival |
We depart from Henley in the morning and make our way to the Celtic Royal Hotel. Tea/coffee and biscuits will be served on arrival. |
Day Two |
Our first visit today takes us to the shores of Cardigan Bay and Portmeirion. We visit this unique attraction - setting for to cult TV series 'The Prisoner'. From here we drive to Betws-y-Coed where we have a break with time explore the town and enjoy the afternoon. |
Day Three |
This morning we have a ride to the village of Llanberis, in the shadow of Mount Snowdon. Here we join the Llanberis Lake Railway for a delightful ride along the lake shore. We have time to explore and obtain lunch in Llanberis. This afternoon, return to Caernarfon by coach for free time. |
Day Four |
After breakfast this morning we make our way to Bodnant Garden. Located in the Conwy Valley this garden is a Grade 1 listed horticultural gem - home to botanical collections from around the globe. Later, we head to Anglesey to explore the Welsh island. Perhaps visit Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch (known for its very long village name!) and the James Pringle Weavers before heading to Beaumaris to enjoy time at the seaside. |
