Day One: Arrival |
We travel north to Heysham to catch our ferry to Douglas. |
Day Two |
We enjoy a relaxed morning in Ramsey, the island's second largest town, with time to explore its extensive harbour, seaside promenade and independent shops. This afternoon we visit the fascinating Isle of Man Motor Museum, home to an impressive collection of classic cars, motorcycles and motoring memorabilia. |
Day Three |
Today, we travel to Laxey Station, where we board a train on the Snaefell Mountain Railway to the top of the island's highest mountain for spectacular views of the island (weather permitting!). We take the train back to Laxey and pay a visit to the Laxey Wheel. |
Day Four |
We discover the south coast today, beginning with a trip aboard the Isle of Man Steam Railway. We board the train in Douglas and travel through the countryside to the resort of Port Erin. We then continue by coach to The National Folk Museum at Cregneash. |
Day Five |
A free day to relax and explore Douglas. |
Day Six |
We board our ferry to Heysham and continue south homewards to the Midlands. |
