Day 1 |
We drive to Llangollen, famously situated on the River Dee, overlooked by its magnificent Castle before continuing to the Victorian resort of Llandudno, arriving during the late afternoon. |
Day 2 |
This morning we visit Caernarfon Castle, recognised around the world as one of the greatest buildings of the Middle Ages and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before enjoying a scenic drive to Llanberis. |
Day 3 |
Today is free to explore some of the many attractions of this popular North Wales resort. We include a ticket for the open-topped bus to enable you to explore the town and surrounding areas at your leisure. |
Day 4 |
Today we take a scenic drive into the Snowdonia National Park making our way to Betws-y-Coed, the gateway to Snowdonia. We continue into the National Park through Blaenau Ffestiniog to Porthmadog |
Day 5 |
This morning we travel over the Menai Bridge to the Isle of Anglesey and nearby Beaumaris with its medieval castle, lovely beach and Victorian pier. Whilst there we relax on a leisurely 80-minute return boat cruise to Puffin Island. (The Cruise is subject to weather conditions). |
Day 6 |
Departing our hotel we return via medieval Chester. Chester has the most complete city walls, plus a 1000-year-old Cathedral with Europe's finest example of medieval carvings - and of course the one and only Rows galleries where shopping is a double delight. |
