Day One |
We travel to Dover for the ferry crossing to Calais, then continue onwards to Versailles and our hotel. |
Day Two |
Today we visit the magnificent Château de Versailles, one of France's most celebrated royal palaces. Our guided tour brings its glittering state apartments, royal history and remarkable architecture to life, including the splendour associated with the court of Louis XIV. Afterwards, enjoy free time to wander through the formal gardens, admire the fountains and soak up the grandeur of this unforgettable setting. |
Day Three |
Enjoy a leisurely day in Versailles, perhaps exploring the elegant streets, local shops, cafés and historic quarters at your own pace. In the evening, we return to the Royal Gardens of the Palace of Versailles for the spectacular Night Fountains Show, where illuminated groves, music, dancing water displays and fireworks combine to create a magical summer evening in truly regal surroundings. |
Day Four |
This morning we travel to Giverny to visit the much-loved house and gardens of Claude Monet. Explore the colourful Clos Normand flower garden and the Japanese-inspired water garden, including the famous lily pond that inspired some of Monet's most iconic paintings. |
Day Five |
We return to Calais for the ferry crossing to Dover, then continue our journey home. |
