Monday Xmas Eve |
An enjoyable journey south to the popular resort of Weymouth with a pleasant stop for lunch in the atmospheric cathedral city of Wells. Meet up with everyone for a wine reception prior to dinner, followed by bingo and festive music. |
Tuesday Xmas Day |
A scenic coastal drive is followed by a visit to lovely Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens. Established in 1765 by the first Countess of Ilchester as a kitchen garden for her nearby castle, the garden is now filled with rare and exotic plants from around the world. Tonight, Father Christmas will visit with a gift for one and all prior to a good old-fashioned Christmas Dinner followed by entertainment. |
Wednesday Boxing Day |
A day at leisure in resort where we are free to explore the award-winning beach, picturesque harbour and traffic-free centre. The evening commences with a glowing glass of punch before dinner. A fun evening includes a fancy hats competition together with musical entertainment. |
Thursday NY Eve |
We drive through the Dorset countryside passing through delightful Corfe Castle to the colourful seaside resort of Swanage. Hogmanay dinner followed by party night entertainment including a glass of bubbly and a mince pie. |
Friday |
We commence our homeward journey, stopping en-route for lunch before returning to the Midlands. |
