Day One: Arrival |
Departing Henley, we travel to Holyhead, and take the ferry over to Dublin, then onwards to Arklow; our base for the next 4 nights. |
Day Two |
We begin at Mount Usher Gardens, a tranquil riverside garden filled with mature trees and seasonal planting. This afternoon we visit Avoca Handweavers Mill for a fascinating tour of Ireland's famous weaving heritage. |
Day Three |
Today we enjoy a private tour at the Irish National Stud and time to admire the Japanese Gardens. Later, we continue to Lullymore Heritage Centre and Discovery Park to discover Ireland's rich peatland heritage. |
Day Four |
We head to Russborough House for a guided tour, followed by free time to explore its 200 acres of scenic parkland. On our return to the hotel, we pause in the charming village of Enniskerry. |
Day Five |
After breakfast, we head to Dublin, and take the ferry back to Holyhead, arriving back at Henley later in the evening. |
