Day One: Arrival |
Travel north to Halifax for a guided tour of the Grade I listed Piece Hall and its trading history. Continue to the Coniston Hotel for four nights. |
Day Two |
Drive to Carlisle and board the Settle & Carlisle Railway. Enjoy Westmorland's wild fells, sweeping Dales scenery and impressive viaducts before reaching Settle and returning by coach. |
Day Three |
Tour Grassington, Wharfedale, Kettlewell and Aysgarth on the way to Hawes. Visit Wensleydale Creamery and discover the story and flavour of its celebrated Yorkshire cheese. |
Day Four |
Cruise the Leeds-Liverpool Canal with refreshments while hearing about its 200-year industrial heritage. Afterwards, enjoy free time to explore Skipton's shops, market and castle surroundings. |
